Thank You and bye for now, Simon AverellPhil Trumble
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Simon has decided to move back to the UK at the end of the year, and therefore has tendered his resignation at Pozitive. Simon has been an integral pillar of Pozitive as our Service Manager for almost 10 years and on top of being our all-round tech genius is a great mate who will be sorely missed.
At the same time, I am incredibly honoured to have been able to work alongside him over these years and often stood in wonderment at what he could achieve. He has bailed us out on so many occasions with his logical thinking, steady hand and “can-do” attitude and for this I personally thank him for all he has done for Pozitive and for me.
Although miles away in the UK, Simon will not be far from us as he assumes a new role as Service Manager of swissQprint UK – a newly formed subsidiary of swissQprint. What an amazing opportunity this is for Simon, and despite being somewhat jealous 🙂 – I wish him all the very best in his new role. We gladly claim him as an Aussie, another export from Sydney going over to teach our Swiss friends a few tricks 🙂 he will no doubt quickly become an integral part of swissQprint’s global technical team.
All the best Simon! Please don’t be a stranger and we look forward to crossing paths sooner rather than later, especially for a pint or two.
The role of Service manager will now be taken up by Renee Sheridan in the new year – previously our Service Coordinator who has been on maternity leave. Renee will be back in the new year ready to help the service team perform at their best for 2020.
