Charities Suported by Pozitive

At Pozitive we believe in giving back to our community and supporting those in need. As a team we are committed to giving back where we can and are proud to support the following organisations.

As Australia’s largest national education-oriented charity, The Smith Family  support disadvantaged Australian children to participate fully in their education, giving them the best chance at breaking the cycle of disadvantage.

Their learning support and mentoring programs help children in need to fit in at school, keep up with their peers, and build aspirations for a better future for themselves. The Smith Family delivers their Learning for Life programs across 94 Australian communities, often out of the local school. The communities have been identified as having higher concentrations of families living in economic disadvantage and are across all Australian states and territories.

At Pozitive we are pleased to be regular sponsors of two children thought the Smith Family and the excellent work they do.

Plan International was founded in 1937 by British journalist John Langdon-Davies and refugee worker Eric Muggeridge, originally to provide food, accommodation and education to refugee children whose lives had been disrupted by the Spanish Civil War.

It was Langdon-Davies who conceived the idea of a personal relationship between a child and a sponsor – a model that puts a child at the centre, and remains the core of what we do.

Today, Plan International is a global organisation, working in more than 51 developing countries to provide children with access to basic rights like education, food, clean water, health, protection, play, and a good standard of living.

Pozitive are proud to sponsor two children abroad through Plan International and we really enjoy receiving the pictures and letters from them.
